Struggles of 'Being a Director'

Struggles of ‘Being a Director'
(These are some of the struggles a director faces at start of his career..).
Have you ever wondered what all a director has to go through during the process of making a film? Well if not, I will tell you the basic kind of struggles; mostly related to human behavior also as well. It’s said that a director has to be the coolest person on the set. Knowing about human psychology is very important, trust me I have so far experienced it, and got my answer. I am not saying that having the ‘psychology’ book in front of you, but at least understanding human behavior is really necessary. If the director is very calm during his/her work, the people would be more keened into working on a particular project. The director has to get control on his anger, this is the first, and the most important thing I feel which is significant. Being angry every time if the work is not being complete will make the situation more tensed up for the director itself, and also for the cast & crew. The second challenging part of being a director is to have ‘control on your emotions’. This I have personally experienced. Once things weren’t going accordingly to what I wanted in spite of all the hard work and I felt like crying or screaming out loud, because of frustration. But this is a point of view as a beginner. For professional directors there might be even more problems aroused, like for example the budget problem during the production. So the director should know how to calm himself/herself, and get in control of his/her emotions. Basically I only won’t say for a director, but in this field working only practically without any kind of emotions will help your path to be even more clear and easy as well. A director also might face problems in one of his own qualities, let’s take an example of leadership. How so every powerful your convincing power is, and the way you manage people, it is guaranteed that there might be one person who will cause trouble for you during your work, which also in a way can demotivate you as well. A director also may struggle during the narration of the story as he has to make those similar kinds of images which is created in his/her mind transfer to his cast & crew. Even though there are many difficult stages which a director also has to face during the shoot, maybe there might be sleepless days for him/her as well. Being prepared for everything is the best option, and solution as well. At the end of the day when you will see the final cut of the film, trust me you will reach cloud nine.
